Our mission is to help schools communicate with their students. We want to provide schools throughout North America with digital signage that keeps everyone in the know.
In the past we have grown and been successful from word of mouth and referrals. People come to us and let us know that they would like to use our products and services. Today, we want to accelerate that success by taking our message to those who may not know us. We want to find a sales leader to make our sales process proactive, rather than reactive. We do not want to run a sales sweat shop that pressures customers to buy. We want to educate schools as to how we can help, and when we connect we do the homework to discover their pain points, and if we are a good fit we then guide a school to success with our digital signage solution. We of course do not want to be wall flowers waiting for someone to pick us - we need to be persistent and heard if we think we are a fit.
The sales leader that we need is a creator, and a doer. We don’t have a large team to delegate to or a bureaucracy to manage. Our leader needs to understand what drives a software as a service business and they have to roll up their sleeves and get sales done. They need to prove what works and what doesn’t, by doing it themselves. And once proven, hire and train a team to replicate that success. We need someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit, who speaks plainly and candidly, and just gets stuff done. And when we go about getting stuff done we don’t bank the farm on any one thing, we use data and iterations in a constant cycle of trying, learning and adjusting. Our sales leader understands data and how to mine it. They know what technology can be used to effectively reach as many people as possible. And they understand how to use technology to manage and empower their team. Our sales leader knows way more than we know and teaches us every day about what’s possible.
And most importantly they are never satisfied with what they already know. Our sales leader is a continual learner. You, sales leader, wherever you may be, are constantly educating yourself. Always learning new and improved ways to work, to reach people, and to inspire your team.
Added bonus. You have experience with and understand the education market. Our initial sale price to any school is low, however our goal is to constantly provide greater and greater value such that they continually expand the number of displays that they use throughout their facilities, and, we incrementally win over all of the schools in a district and slowly but surely move them to our enterprise pricing tier. Ideally you understand this nurture and grow strategy and how to cost effectively deliver it.
We would like our sales leader to have done this before and know how to do it again How much experience is needed? Hard to say. If you have done some amazing things in a really short period of time, we would love to hear the story. Or maybe you haven’t done that much but you have some incredible potential. Sell us on it. On the other hand, maybe you have lots of history, like me, but never lost the entrepreneurial passion for what you do and you are now ready to roll up your sleeves and do it all over again. If what I am describing here is a fit for who you are then please tell me your story.
I would like our sales leader to get setup and prove some measure of success within three months of joining us. And within six months you have figured out how to replicate and profitably expand your teams, repeating that success on some regular cadence from that point on.

This isn’t some new fad that we have adopted, we have been doing this for years and years, and it is in our DNA. Our virtual company gives us the lifestyles that all of us want. With regards to compensation. We are considering a total compensation package of $135,800 if you reside in Canada or $121,800 if you reside in the USA or anywhere else in the world.
