Federal Account Executive at CodeLathe

CodeLathe (an Austin, TX, USA based company), is looking for a driven and motivated Federal Account Executive to join our growing sales team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has experience developing client relationships within the Federal Government space. The Federal Account Executive will be responsible for high impact projects and should be genuinely interested in helping customers find solutions to support their success. This role is remote and will require working remotely with other team members. FileCloud is the fastest-growing Enterprise File Share and Sync (EFSS) solution in the industry, with over one million users worldwide. Our products are used by many global 2000 and Fortune 500 companies and world-leading public sector organizations.

  • Perform full-cycle sales – prospecting, qualifying leads, explaining the value proposition, and closing the opportunities
  • Deliver product/sales demos to customers, provide technical answers, and recommend best practices to get maximum value out of FileCloud
  • Generate sales pipeline through warm/cold calls, referrals, free trials, events, and marketing-generated leads
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, solution architecture, and product management teams to achieve customer goals
  • Answer technical questions about software installation, deployment, and usage scenarios
  • Unearth customer pain points and bring insights to the product team
  • Use Salesforce for managing leads, opportunities, communication, and forecasting
Required Qualifications:
  • At least 3+ years of field sales experience selling software to the Federal space, preferably U.S. DoD
  • Continuous meaningful, and demonstrable success in enterprise sales
  • Experience in consultative, enterprise solutions selling EFSS solutions or adjacent software to support infrastructure modernization, VDI, data synchronization, or similar
  • Ability to work in U.S. Central Time zone
