Product and Content Growth Associate at FATHOM

Fathom is on a mission to use AI to understand and structure the world’s medical data, starting by making sense of the terabytes of clinician notes contained within the electronic health records of the world’s largest health systems. Our deep learning engine automates the translation of patient records into the billing codes used for healthcare provider reimbursement, a process today that costs hospitals in the US $15B+ annually and tens of billions more in errors and denied claims. We are a venture-backed company that completed a Series B round of financing for $46M in late 2022.

Fathom is looking for a Product and Content Growth Marketer to drive product and content marketing in addition to general marketing responsibilities. This position will work closely with the Head of Growth on developing and refining market intelligence, product positioning, messaging frameworks, and a range of multimedia content supporting Fathom’s demand generation and team-building agenda. Your role and responsibilities will include:

  • Driving competitive intelligence through continual market and industry analysis

  • Building out an expert understanding of our target customers by segment and medical specialty, articulating their unmet coding needs

  • Acting as an internal product expert to develop, iterate, and expand upon product positioning, messaging frameworks, value propositions, and other materials that differentiate our product and drive customer adoption

  • Translating market and customer understanding into effective product marketing collateral for use on Fathom’s website and by Fathom’s sales team for sales enablement and external speaking engagements

  • Contributing to and executing against a multimedia content calendar, including social media posts, blogs, customer vignettes / features, videos, and other content

  • Generating creative and engaging content ideas supporting Fathom’s brand / voice

  • Staying up to date on healthcare technology marketing tactics and tools, and incorporating best practices as relevant


We’re looking for a teammate with:

  • 3+ years of experience in product, marketing, and/or business strategy roles

  • Strong bias toward action and willingness to hack novel approaches

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and strong attention to detail

  • Project management, organization, and coordination skills and experience

  • Creative, resourceful, and entrepreneurial spirit and mindset

  • Comfort giving and receiving feedback in an open organizational culture

  • Capacity to develop a unique point of view and voice through content

  • Desire to build expertise and personal brand in technical subject matter


Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience working in healthcare, especially in revenue cycle management

  • Experience working in a high-growth startup environment

  • Curiosity and comfort working as part of a remote / distributed team


Salary range:

  • $80 000 - $150 000 USD
