100% Remote Salesforce Architect

Erickson Immigration Group has a career opportunity for a talented Salesforce Architect to join our expanding team in our Headquarters office, located in Arlington, VA. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in software development and architecture, experience with the Salesforce platform, and a deep understanding of CRM and business processes. The candidate should have excellent communication and collaboration skills and be able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. This position can be fully remote with the ability to work on-site if desired.

Primary Responsibilities For This Role

We’re looking for a Developer with the advanced skills needed to customize an enterprise level system for a business immigration law firm.

This position drives highly visible Salesforce initiatives across the organization including designing applications on the platform and supporting integrations with Salesforce.

  • Help manage the technical direction of our Case Management System, built on Salesforce, to support EIG’s enterprise level processes.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements and develop functional and technical solutions on the Salesforce platform
  • Designing and implementing custom objects, fields, formulas, workflows, processes, and other Salesforce components to support business processes and requirements
  • Developing integrations between Salesforce and other systems, such as CRM, ERP, and other business applications
  • Configuring and maintaining security, access controls, and data sharing rules on the Salesforce platform
  • Developing and implementing data migration strategies to move data from legacy systems to Salesforce
  • Monitoring and maintaining the performance, availability, and scalability of the Salesforce platform and applications
  • Providing technical guidance and support to developers and IT teams to ensure that solutions are developed and implemented according to best practices and industry standards
  • Staying up-to-date with Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices, and providing recommendations for improvements and enhancements to the Salesforce platform
  • Manage an automated CI/CD process to move changes through environments to production

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required - Computer Science, MIS, or IT related field.
  • Direct experience working on CRM projects for medium sized enterprise companies.
  • 5+ years of experience with building solutions on or platform.
  • Experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and development.
  • 3+ years software engineering experience with Platform (Apex, VisualForce, SOQL, Unit Testing).
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools.
  • Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.).
  • A desire to work with the latest tools, technologies, and methodologies ( Platform, Eclipse, MS Azure PaSS, VS Code).
  • Experience building customer portals with Experience Portal
