The right Director of Sales will be exceptional at operations and strategy; the ability to get deep into the details of processes and technologies while also understanding how each detail connects to the future and impacts other teams; deeply involved in the day-to-day partner experience. It is a highly collaborative role that will require constant coordination and communication with internal teams, customers, and external partners.

Your Day to Day

  • Work with executive leadership on the creation of an overall sales strategy across our multiple audiences (B2B / B2C); bring a POV on where we can move the needle on growth, quickly identifying the lanes where we'll win.
  • Lead a young sales team to learn, develop and hone sales processes and skills.
  • Establish foundational sales operations for the org (CRM, SalesTech, etc).
  • Spearhead initiatives to steadily increase the effectiveness of the sales organization over time; routinely craft hypotheses you wish to test, capture the work done and iterate on the learnings.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Clinical business units to create cohesive growth strategies that not only drive pipeline activity but high quality leads and consistent conversions.
  • Maintain command over the Sales pipeline, KPIs, data reporting and dashboards; Manage the weekly/monthly/quarterly quotas for the team and report out to the exec team on results.
  • Own the budget for the sales department and ensure the appropriate costs are allocated annually based on the projected growth of the organization.
  • Work with the exec team on the creation and implementation of sales compensation plans, ensuring that everyone is properly motivated, and staying within budget.

About You:

  • 10+ years in high-growth B2B / B2C sales leadership
  • Experience establishing / working in high volume, inside sales environments
  • Entrepreneurial leadership experience, with a proven track record of measuring and creating order and processes where there had been little before
  • An ability to pinpoint sales improvement or new opportunity via analyzing and managing sales / productivity data
  • Experience developing a market with a disruptive offering that meets the market's need for virtual care
  • Ownership mentality to see new initiatives through to the end, from ideation, to testing, to proof of concept, to full-team roll out
  • Experience leading and motivating small teams (5+ employees); player-coach mentality
  • Proven ability to coach and provide feedback to drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior written and oral communication skills with a customer-centric approach to sales leadership
