Our client, an active Higher EdTech (B2B, Saas products), focused on improving student success and graduation rates by crafting digital experiences that build community and increase student engagement.

As a Senior Sales Development Representative, you will directly support growth by bringing more institutions and students onto their SaaS-based Student Engagement through prospecting, qualifying, and discovery efforts for pipeline generation.

The senior sales development representative objectives will be to

  • Qualify inbound, and Outbound leads to generate new opportunities and pipelines for the sales team

  • Manage Strategic prospecting and account-based selling tactics in partnership with Sales Development Team and Account Executives

In this role, you will frequently have conversations with various senior leaders at HigherEd institutions about their goals and objectives regarding student success, retention, engagement, and mental health. You must be comfortable with and excited to help these leaders shape the future of the Higher Education Student experience.

  • You will be responsible for sales activities, including finding contact information, creating messaging and researching prospective higher education institutions.

  • Follow-up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects.

  • Cold call prospects generated - Identify prospects to contact via cold calling and email outreach

  • Conduct thorough discovery to identify potential needs and qualify prospects to schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives, ultimately.

  • You will actively stay in tune with Education Technology marketing trends

  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing team members on strategic sales approach

  • Ensure successful follow-through of the sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in HubSpot.

Qualifications :

  • 2+ years in B2B Software sales and or relevant experience

  • Cold calling experience required.

  • Email marketing experience preferably

  • Highly motivated, self-disciplined, organized, and professional with a competitive drive.

  • Experience improving Sales Development KPIs

  • You are a structured and robust communicator, both written and verbal

  • Consistent track record of 100%+ of quota achievement as an individual contributor

  • Experience working with a CRM Application such as HubSpot

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
