National Sales Rep, B2B at ICAST (International Center for Appropriate & Sustainable Technology)

ICAST (International Center for Appropriate and Sustainable Technology) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that delivers green upgrades to multifamily affordable housing (MFAH) properties to fight the affordable housing, climate change, and social equity crises. We motivate people to act, leading to results that foster local economic development, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility in under-served communities. By 2025, we aim to serve 100,000 LMI households annually, reduce their utility costs by $270 Million and Carbon emission by 1.5 million tons, create 2,000 sustainable jobs and invest over $100 Million in local communities.

Overview: You will develop and/or leverage new and existing relationships within the multifamily industry to sell ICAST energy efficient retrofits and consulting services to multifamily housing owners. You are a self-starter that can work both collaboratively and independently.


Must Have Qualifications:
  • Contacts in the multifamily industry
  • Multifamily sales experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales
  • Experience in at least one of these areas:
    • construction sales
    • multifamily housing
    • energy efficiency
  • HVAC, lighting, or window sales experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of utility rebate programs and incentives is a plus

A typical day might include these activities:
  • Networking with professionals involved with or connected to the multifamily housing industry
  • Prospecting to build a pipeline
  • Walking multifamily properties and conducting site assessments
  • Working with ICAST's engineers and or operation teams to perform energy audits
  • Developing scopes of work for green upgrades to multifamily properties
  • Closing contracts with new and existing customers
  • Updating Salesforce to record activity
  • Reporting on: pipeline, conversion rates, weekly, and monthly performance metrics

Compensation: $150,000 base plus commission
